How many players can the bracket handle?

From 2 to 64 participants. When the count isn't a power of two, the generator adds byes automatically so top-seeded slots skip round one.

How are matchups decided?

Entries are shuffled with the Fisher-Yates algorithm before seeding, so pairings are completely random. Re-create the bracket for a new draw.

Can matches be decided randomly?

Yes — every match has a dice button that picks a random winner 50/50, or you can click the actual winner if you're playing real games.

Can I change a result after advancing?

Yes — click a different winner in any decided match and all downstream results that depended on it are cleared automatically.

Byes, seeding and fairness

Single elimination needs a power-of-two field: 4, 8, 16, 32 or 64. With, say, 11 players, the generator rounds up to 16 and hands out 5 byes — free passes through round one. Byes are assigned by the same random shuffle as the matchups, so no one can accuse the organizer of favoritism. Ways to run it

Real tournaments: project the bracket, play the games, click winners as they happen. Changed a result by mistake? Click the other name — downstream matches reset automatically.

FAQ

Does it support double elimination or round robin?
Not yet — single elimination covers most casual tournaments. For round-robin-style repeated random picks, the wheel spinner with winner removal works great.

Are the matchups really random?
Yes — a Fisher–Yates shuffle seeds the bracket, so all pairings are equally likely. Re-create for a new draw.

Can I save the bracket?
Copy the results text anytime. The bracket also stays on screen until you leave or reset the page.
