1. Who we are

Wheel Of List ("we", "us") operates wheeloflist.com, a collection of free browser tools: a name wheel spinner, a random number generator and a dice roller. The site is operated by Dionisio Software. Contact: dionisiosoftware@gmail.com.

2. Data we collect

We do not require accounts and do not ask for personal information. Everything you type into our tools (names, numbers, lists) is processed entirely in your browser and stored only in your device's localStorage. It is never uploaded to our servers.

3. Cookies and similar technologies

We use two categories of cookies and local storage:

• Essential/preferences: theme choice, saved lists and tool history, stored in your browser's localStorage.
• Analytics and advertising: Google Analytics (traffic measurement) and Google AdSense (advertising) set cookies as described below.

4. How Google AdSense uses your data

We display ads served by Google AdSense. Google, as a third-party vendor, uses cookies — including the DART cookie and DoubleClick cookies — and advertising identifiers to serve ads based on your visits to this and other websites. Google may collect your IP address, device information and browsing behavior for this purpose.

5. Google Analytics

We use Google Analytics 4 to understand aggregate site usage (pages visited, approximate location, device type). IP addresses are processed by Google in anonymized/truncated form. This data does not identify you personally to us.

6. Legal basis

Where required (GDPR in the EU/EEA/UK, LGPD in Brazil), we rely on your consent for advertising and analytics cookies, given via the cookie notice shown on your first visit. Essential storage relies on legitimate interest in operating the site.

7. Your rights

Depending on your jurisdiction (GDPR, LGPD, CCPA), you have the right to access, correct or delete personal data, to withdraw consent, and to object to processing. Since we store no personal data server-side, most data can be removed by clearing your browser's cookies and site data. For anything else, email us and we will respond within 30 days.

8. Data retention

Local preferences and histories remain on your device until you clear them. Google's advertising and analytics cookies have their own expiration periods (typically up to 2 years), controlled by Google.

9. Data sharing and international transfers

We share data only with: Google (advertising and analytics, as described above) and our hosting provider (GitHub Pages, which may log IP addresses for security). These providers may process data in the United States and other countries under standard contractual clauses and equivalent safeguards.

10. Children

The site is suitable for general audiences and does not knowingly collect personal information from children. Teachers may safely use the tools in classrooms — student names entered into the wheel never leave the device.

11. Security

The site is served exclusively over HTTPS.

12. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy as the site evolves. The "last updated" date at the top always reflects the current version.
